Harry Deupree "LeFlore, Drum Painter," provides Native American Drums, Rattles and Shields.  These may be purchased in their plain, unpainted forms, or you may wish to purchase a painted and decorated drum, rattle or shield, either from my designs or your custom design.

Drums had many uses to the American Indian in the past, and that continues today. In addition, they have a unique and intriguing sound, and a beauty that can be enjoyed by all.

Drums may be ordered in sizes ranging from 4" diameter and 4" height, to drums as large as 48" x 20".They are available as "frame" drums or "log" drums, and may be either one-sided or two-sided.

Rattles may be designed to hang on the wall or to display on a piece of furniture.  Handles may be leather wrapped, braided, or fur lined.  Rattles typically measure 10- 14 inches in length.

Shields are either "medicine" shields (smaller in appearance) or "battle" shields. Both types are covered with durable rawhide and adorned with other items of cultural or historical significance.

Drums, Rattles and Shields are unique forms of Native American art. They provide a rare beauty to a home or office.  They make excellent gifts for numerous occasions.  Since these items are all hand made, there are slight variations, even though sizes may be very similar. Hand painting also produces slight variations. Nevertheless, I can provide great similarity when a customer wishes to order numerous items of the same size or design.

Generally my designs are Native American or Southwestern, but I also provide corporate and tribal logos, or other design-specific patterns.

Your ultimate satisfaction is very important to me.
